The breathtakingly beautiful island of Canouan is located in the Southern Grenadines of the 32 islands and Cays that make up the island chain of St. vincent & the Grenadines. Although quite a small island,( measuring only 3.5 miles by 1.25 miles) Canouan creates a huge impression on many rich and famous visitors who return frequently to enjoy it’s unspoilt nature and idyllic lifestyle.
A barrier reef runs along the Atlantic side of the island. The highest point on the island is Mount Royal. Two bays, Glossy and Friendship, separate the southern side of the Canouan Island. Canouan we invite you to add Dalston to your itinerary.

We believe that dining needn’t be expensive to be fine. Canouan boast some of the best Caribbean, Italian, Mediterraeanan and Vincentian food in St. Vincent and the Grenadines all at affordable prices to suit your fancy. Those looking for a more posh vibe will be happy to know that our Island also offers restaurants headed by some of the most accomplisned international chefs.
Shopping
While a variety of places to shop shop may be limited, you may fine some local treasure in the village or an exquiste delight in the boutiques at the Tamarind Beach Hotel or Mandarin Oriental Canouan.
There are a few small supermarkets, shops and a local fruit and vegetable market in the village.
Churches
As a religious community Canouan is home to several denominations, Catholic, Anglican, Seventh Day Adventest and a few Pentecostal churches are availble for whorship and special occasions.
Entertainment / Nightlife
There are several Bars and Entertainment spots on the Island of Canoaun and it seems each are patronised heavily on a particular day of the week. Take the opportunity to experience it all up close and personal. We promise you won’t regret it.
